MIC’s Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing are married! Bride wears mini wedding dress – and sunglasses – to kiss new husband outside Chelsea town hall following legal ceremony

Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing looked every inch the happy couple as they kissed after tying the knot at Chelsea Registry Office on Thursday.

The reality star, 27, looked gorgeous in a short silk white gown, bow veil and sunglasses for her London nuptials – ahead of a second ceremony in Seville, Spain on May 19.

The pair looked happier than ever as they had a smooch on the steps after the ceremony where Sophie beamed as she clutched her flowers.

She wowed in the off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood number with a corset design that showed off her toned and tanned legs and was accessorised with a ‘wifey for lifey’ clutch bag.

The blonde beauty – who got engaged to Jamie in December 2021 after they started dating in April 2019 – completed the look with matching white heels and wore her blonde tresses in loose waves while opting for glowing makeup.

Minutes earlier Jamie, 34, had arrived and was all smiles in a smart navy suit and crisp white shirt.

Jamie and Sophie revealed last year that they turned down offers to film their wedding for a Made In Chelsea special – just 11 months after the Strictly star quit the E4 series to save their romance.

In their first joint interview, the engaged couple reveal they have decided against turning their nuptials, which will take place overseas next year, into a reality spinoff show because Jamie believes relationships have a better chance of surviving away from the cameras.

The Candy Kittens owner told MailOnline reality TV is ‘tough on the soul’ and after realising he wanted to marry former co-star Sophie he knew his departure from Made In Chelsea was inevitable.

Jamie revealed: ‘We got asked to do a TV show but it’s tricky.

‘I have done reality for so long and it’s tough on the soul. I don’t think TV is ever on your own terms so unless you have control over those things then it’s quite difficult.

‘It’s one of those things that you must decide whether you want to go down the reality TV route again or not.

‘Once you get married, what happens then? Do we do another show about being married… when does it end? For the moment I am parking reality.’

In agreement with her husband-to-be, Sophie added: ‘It is a day for us and our family and friends.’
