Stacey Solomon says she had to take Rex to A&E

Stacey Solomon, 31, took to Instagram to give an update about her son’s hospital visit today after fans sent supportive messages. Tonight, she revealed they will both stay over at the hospital, so he can be seen to first thing tomorrow.

The Loose Women star said help for Rex had been delayed as children who needed more urgent care were prioritised.

Earlier today, the chat show star shared a picture of herself and Rex waiting for a bed and a time slot.

Her youngest son hurt his lip after falling over in their garden.

Stacey and husband-to-be Joe Swash took their boy to A&E, where he had some little butterfly strips put on.

She added her son was “so good and calm’ in the hospital and asked the doctor to “fix it” for him.

Speaking alongside her partner, she revealed he was tears by Rex’s injury.

In her most recent update, Stacey said she was packing a bag for son’s stay.

“I’m in Rex’s room packing his bag and downloading Moana,” she wrote, alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

“And some Friends episodes for me.

“My baby brain is not great at the moment, so if any of you know good things to bring that I will probably forget, let me know.”

Stacey said Rex’s injury was the reason why she had been away from her social media page.

The former X Factor’s last post was a snap of her proudly touching her blossoming bump.

Stacey announced she is expecting her second baby with Joe last week.

The couple posed for a picture alongside Rex and her other sons Zachary and Leighton, who held up the scan picture.

She wrote: “We are growing another pickle.

“We’ve never felt so grateful… I have no words. We didn’t think we would get the chance.

“We love you all to the moon and back. Lots of love From Me, Joe, Harry, Zach, Leighton, Rex, and our little pickle.”

In a further emotional post, she went on to say the pair had been trying for another baby for a while and had experienced miscarriages.

The couple are also due to get married next month.

Stacey announced their engagement on Instagram on Christmas Eve after Joe popped the question at their local woods.
