Helen Skelton joked she was "ruining" her son's life as she shared a relatable parenting post to her Instagram Stories recently.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 39, was enjoying a day out with her three children, Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and one year old Elsie, and her mum Janet to mark Mother's Day, when her youngest son got upset.
Helen shared a snap of Louis crouched down on the floor with his head in his hands and joked: "Reality……. When you're 'ruining their life' because of the way you tie a trainer lace. All part of the adventure we get to call parenting," along with a string of emojis.
Countryfile presenter Helen shares Ernie, Louis and Elsie with ex-husband Richie Myler, who she split from in April 2022 after eight years of marriage.
The mum-of-three announced that rugby player Richie, 32, had left the family home last year, and he's since moved on with new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill. Richie and Stephanie are now expecting their first child together.
With her ex-husband having moved on, it seems Helen could be ready to begin dating again too as she's reportedly being lined up to appear on hit Channel 4 show Celebs Go Dating following her successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
Helen made it to the final of the BBC One show with professional dancer partner Gorka Marquez, with the duo becoming fan favourites.
Speaking about Helen's potential reality TV stint, a source said: “Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch. The public really felt for her after her split and bosses think everyone would love to see her dating journey."
The insider continued to The Sun: "They are willing to offer her big bucks to take part, but it looks like Helen really isn’t interested in sharing that part of her life."
While Helen could finally be ready to move on with her life, the source added that bosses at Channel 4 know it would take "a lot to change her mind".
OK! has contacted representatives for Helen and Channel 4 for comment.
Helen and Richie got engaged in 2012 and tied the knot the following year. Their first child, Ernie, was born in 2013, followed by second son, Louis, in 2017.
Elsie Kate, the couple's first daughter, was born December 2021, just four months before they called time on their marriage.
