Oti Mabuse has entertained audiences with her breathtaking dance routines on Strictly Come Dancing for the past six years. The two-time BBC champion recently announced her new role on ITV’s Dancing On Ice but has since spoken out after she secured another TV gig.
The Masked Dancer judge has announced she will be hosting a brand new ITV programme, Romeo and Duet.
The 31-year-old took to Instagram and shared the exciting news today.
The professional dancer accompanied the post with a gorgeous photo as she sported a white top which she teamed with a matching skirt.
Oti admitted she “couldn’t believe it” as she shared her delight over her latest move.
In view of her 637,000 followers, she began: “My heart is just filled with excitement and joy about this announcement.
“I’m so thrilled to be the host of the brand new ITV show Romeo & Duet due to air later on this year.”
She continued: “To @mel_md_goat_films who is such a positive light in my life and has done nothing but support and motivate me, I adore you and thank you for being an IMPOSSIBLE WOMAN.
“Woop woop. I can’t even begin to explain how this feels – still can’t believe it.”

The Strictly star was swiftly inundated with congratulatory messages from her celebrity pals.
It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara penned: “CONGRATULATIONS BABY! Very exciting news.”
Strictly’s AJ Odudu commented: “YAAAAY CONGRATULATIONS.”
Pussycat Doll’s Kimberley Wyatt remarked: “Awesome! Strength to strength to strength! Congratulations Oti!”
The Dancing On Ice judge will help singletons find love in the new ITV dating series Romeo and Duet.
Oti will host the new show which will see hopeful romantics serenade potential partners on a balcony.
The contestant will be able to hear the singer but not see them and must judge the potential suitor on their vocal skills alone.
Once a singer has lured a contestant down from the balcony, the pair will record a duet and battle other singing couples to win in the seven-part series.
Addressing her new role, Oti admitted it was a “pinch me” moment.
“I’m so excited to be part of Romeo and Duet. It’s always been a dream to host so this is a real ‘pinch me’ moment,” she told The Mirror.
“It’s about love with a little bit of a twist and showcase of talent, it’s fresh and fun, and I hope everyone’s going to love it as much as I do.”
Last month, Oti was announced as the new judge on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, replacing John Barrowman on the panel.
Romeo and Duet is set to air on ITV later this year.
