Teen Mom Fans to Maci Bookout: WTH is Wrong with Your Face?!?

Maci Bookout tried to pay tribute to her daughter this weekend.

She tried to gush over her six-year old, Jayde.

She tried to act like a proud mother.

Instead, however?

A handful of followers attempted to make Maci feel like crap.

“Ready to go get the next #pieceofstate at the #tnaautop100 this weekend! Let’s go Jayde aka SNACKS!” wrote the veteran MTV personality as a caption to the snapshot above on Saturday, adding the following hashtags:

#defendingstatechamp #everyBODYcanwrestle #girlswhowrestle.

How nice, right?

Sadly, though, some critics didn’t focus on the excited little girl or the medal around her neck she seemingly earned at a wrestling tournament.

They chose to act as trolls instead, giving Bookout a very hard time for her appearance.

These meanies took to the comments section of Bookout’s post to rip the reality star for not embracing her “natural” look, wondering why she went so far out of her way to make her face look smooth and, well… fake.

“Yay for Jayde and wtf with the facetune Maci. Just enjoy your child and her moment,” one person wrote.

“Maci’s face is so smoothed and blurred she’s turning into a Pixar character,” another added.

“The amount of blurring on maci,” yet another joked, while a fourth remarked:

“She looks like that Disney princess filter on Snapchat.”

Not exactly a warm embrace there by social media follower, huh?

The backlash to Maci’s apparent Photoshopping comes in the wake of annoying some other fans last week by writing the following on her Instagram account:

“Since everyone’s talking, I am happy to CONFIRM my PREGNANCY news!”

Bookout penned this as a caption alongside a blurry screengrab from Teen Mom: Family Reunion‘s teaser trailer.

As it turned out, though, this was nothing more than a clickbait attempt because Maci is very much NOT expecting.

“It seems the rumors are popping up again so … to settle the score — no, Maci is NOT pregnant,” an insider told Celebuzz in response to recent speculation.

“No, she is not sporting a baby bump in the upcoming Teen Mom vacation show.”

So there everyone has it.

Bookout will, indeed, be a part of the upcoming Teen Mom crossover special, which brings cast members from across all these franchises on to the small screen together for the first time.

It will include Maci, Amber Portwood and, yes, Farrah Abraham, among other well-known names and personalities.

The series will be titled Teen Mom: Family Reunion; it will premiere on January 12; and…
