Model and TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson, 53, has offered singer Louise Redknapp, 46, some friendly words of advice on her split from ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, 47. Speaking in her column for The Sun, the thrice married star reflected on her own romantic past, admitting that she felt “damaged” and “flawed” from her divorces.
We need to change the narrative about divorce

Penning her column, the blonde-haired beauty urged the star to see her split as something in her “past”.
She said: “So, I hope Louise and all the other divorcees out there, male and female, can unchain and emancipate themselves, believe their divorce is their past and not their future.”
Ulrika went on to emphasise that the end of a marriage should not be looked at as a failure and continued to call for it to be seen in a different light by society.
She wrote: “I keep hearing this negative talk and have come to realise that the end of a relationship or, indeed, a marriage should not be deemed a failure.
“We need to change the narrative about divorce,” the star implored.
The model and author added that it is entirely possible for both parties to be blameless during the seperation.
She added: “Sometimes it is no one’s fault and divorce can be accepted as a good thing — and yes, even something to be celebrated.”
Ulrika herself has been married three times and is currently married to third husband Brian Monet.
She was previously married to Lance Gerrard-Wright and John Turnbull before marrying her current husband in 2008.
In 2017 it was announced that Louise and Jamie would be going their separate ways, after the former singer competed in Strictly Come Dancing the year before which shot her to stardom.
TV’s former golden couple became engaged while on holiday in Bermuda and married later that week on the exotic island in a “private and small” ceremony in 1998.
The couple went on to have two sons together, Charley, 16 and Beau, 10.
Four years ago the couple split for good, but have remained amicable as they co-parent their children together.
Louise is believed to be single and previously expressed her regret at ending her marriage to Jamie without “trying” to resolve the problems she was dealing with at the time.
She revealed to You! magazine: “I should have paused and thought about other people and had just a bit more time to work out why I felt I couldn’t do it anymore.
“I wish I’d tried. I want to say to anyone thinking of running: Just slow down. Don’t run. Because once you run too fast, you can’t make up the ground you’ve lost,” she continued.
Following the split, Louise has kept details of her love life private, while Jamie has seemingly moved on with Swedish model Frida Andersson.
Earlier this week, Jamie’s new sweetheart appeared to confirm that she and the former professional footballer are expecting their first baby together in an Instagram comment.
Shortly after reports emerged that she was expecting, Frida replied to social media users who had congratulated her on her pregnancy with a prayer hand emoji, in view of her 4,249 followers.
Jamie and Frida have not yet publicly announced their pregnancy news on their social media pages.
