Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice wowed audiences last year with their incredible chemistry during their time together on Strictly Come Dancing. However, their close bond makes it all the more tempting for Giovanni to try and “annoy” Rose backstage.
Rose, 27, and Giovanni, 31, are currently taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
After winning the show back in 2021, the pair continue to lift the glitterball trophy night after night, as they amaze audiences all over the country with their breathtaking routines.
Taking to his Instagram story, Giovanni shared some footage from behind the scenes with his 799,000 followers.
In the first video, Rose was busy signing a poster from the tour when the Italian dancer snuck up next to her and drew on her hand with a Sharpie permanent marker.
Rose looked taken aback for a moment, before lurching across to scribble on Giovanni’s hand in revenge and then shaking her head in disbelief at judge Craig Revel Horwood.
In the next clip, Rose was having a discussion about which posters still needed to be signed with her co-stars.
Meanwhile, Giovanni quietly brought a pen closer and closer to her face before she turned around and jumped.
“What is your problem!?” Rose yelled, before grabbing the pen off him.
In the caption, Giovanni wrote: “The best part of the day… annoying you @rose.a.e.”
In the final post, Rose smiled at the camera before drawing on devil horns and a tail onto Giovanni.
Her dance partner could be heard laughing in the background, simply adding the caption “wow” with three laughter emojis.
The former EastEnders actress and award-winning dancer bested Bake Off star John Whaite and his partner Johannes Radebe in the Strictly final back in December.
They were also supposed to face off against presenter AJ Odudu and her partner Kai Widdrington in the final, but AJ was forced to pull out of the competition after sustaining a nasty leg injury.

Giovanni and Rose were reunited once more when the Strictly Come Dancing tour commenced on January 20, with its first set of shows at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham.
Tonight, they will be dancing alongside their Strictly co-stars at the O2 Arena in London in what will be their penultimate show of the season.
At last night’s broadcast, Rose and Giovanni also won the Timeline Moment of the Year gong for their breathtaking dance routine to Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson’s single Symphony.
The dance featured a moment of silence as the couple continued dancing, giving the audience some insight into how Rose and those from the death community experience the world around them.
Giovanni reacted to the happy news in an Instagram post, which read: “Another incredible achievement for us @rose.a.e and our amazing @bbcstrictly family!! We love you.”
Meanwhile, Rose expressed her gratitude on her Instagram Story.
“Thank you!!!” she penned, “This is so exciting.”
The Strictly Come Dancing live tour finishes tomorrow night at the O2 Arena in London.
