Ray Quinn and Emily Fletcher said their 'I Do's' at Cheshire's incredible Grade-1 listed Peckforton Castle – which has already seen a host of celebrity A-listers take their vows in its incredible grounds.
The 35-year-old X Factor finalist and his dance teacher bride Emily, 31, recited their personal vows to each other in the castle's Great Hall, complete with its incredible 10m-high vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows.
"We'd been to so many different venues but this place just stood out for us, it really felt like a bit of us,” nto tears," Ray told us a few days after the ceremony on Monday 2 October, which was covered exclusively by OK!. "It’s so grand and magical. It’s like a Disney fairy-tale castle, such grandeur.”
Built in around 1850, the red sandstone castle is a listed building, and has seen more than a few celebrities pass through its grand gates.

Real Housewives' Tanya Bardsley tied the knot there with footballer husband Phil in 2014, as did Rebeka Vardy and Jamie two years later, and American R&B singer Ciara and her NFL hubby Russell Wilson in 2016 – whose guest list reportedly included tennis ace Serena Williams, Beyoncé and members of the Kardashian clan.
Emily continued, "When you drive up to it in the car, there's hills all around and you can see the castle at the top of the hill. It's so beautiful. "
Dressed in her intricate lace and tulle mermaid dress and cathedral veil, Emily fitted in perfectly with the regal vibes of the Hall.
The couple officially became the new Mr and Mrs Quinn in front of 70 of their nearest and dearest in the Hall, which had a white fabric aisle and was decorated with white cherry blossom-esque trees, candles and scattered white petals.
With its solid mahogany vaulted ceilings, grand fireplace and antique tiled floor, the room is one of the Castle's most impressive features and no expense has been spared on its design.
Surrounded by over 30,000 acres of woodland, forest and streams, the Castle provided the perfect place for newlyweds Ray and Emily – who are parents to one-year-old Summer, Harry 10 (from Ray's previous relationship) and Lucian, 11, Emily's son – to sneak off for some alone time after their ceremony.
“It was nice to have that breathing space, just me and Ray, to be out in the open and get a bit of fresh air together, just to take it all in and have a moment,” Emily told us.
They then joined their guests in the castle's Drawing Room, in which the red velvet drape curtains, large feature windows and hanging chandeliers create a warm and romantic feel.
The stunning space was decorated perfectly in keeping with the couple’s classic champagne theme and lit by candles placed all around the room and on the seven tables, laid out for their three-course meal of roast plum and tomato soup for the starter, slow-cooked feather blade beef main, and a classic sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for pudding.
The speeches followed the delicious spread, starting with Emily’s dad Simon, who was followed by the groom and Ray’s brother Robin.
Despite being choked up throughout his reading, Ray told us he could “talk about Emily forever, she’s my soulmate” and says it was important to him to make it to the end.
“I actually wanted to make sure that Ray was OK and could say everything he wanted to say,” Emily added. “I wanted to be there for him when he was getting upset. And I wanted to hear every word and be present. I made sure I had tissues!”
