Beauty fans flock to M&S for the ‘perfect dupe’ dupe of the cult Elemis Cleansing Balm for just a quarter of the price | The Sun

IT HAS been claimed that M&S is selling a "perfect dupe" of a popular pricey skincare product.

Beauty fans are heading to the chain for what is being presented as an effective alternative to the cult Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm – and it's just a quarter of the price.

In a TikTok post, they suggested that people have been unnecessarily removing their make-up with the latter option, which costs a whopping £46.

They claim that the bathroom staple is very similar to the M&S Pure Ultimate Cleanse Rose Cleansing Balm, which is priced at a more affordable £12.

In the clip, the social media user explains: "The dupe contains some of the key ingredients, and it performs almost identically."

The Elemis cleanser is described online as "an award-winning transformative cleansing balm that melts away makeup and impurities".

However, the TikTok post demonstrates both products' similar ability to remove make-up from the skin.

According to M&S, the vegan-friendly bargain beauty buy has a "delightful rose scent" and will leave your skin feeling "nourished, moisturised and radiant".

The post has received more than one thousand 'likes', with some agreeing that it is a handy bathroom swap.

One social media user wrote: "Use it all the time. Lasts for ages, tub is so big."
