It's no secret that Billie Eilish can pretty much pull off any hairstyle she wants — from lime green and black to blue to platinum blonde. Now, she's chopped her currently blonde locks into a shaggy bob, and she shared the finished look to her Instagram story.

On Monday, Eilish showed off the bowl-shaped cut on her story with a video where she tousles her tresses. On the first story, she commented a scissors emoji, while on another video of the new 'do she wrote, "I love it." In one post, the fringe fell into Eilish's eyes as she peaked out from under them.

The "Bad Guy" singer also shared the sweet source of inspiration for the chop. She posted a couple of throwback, black-and-white photos of her mother Maggie Baird with a similar cut. On one image, she wrote, "like my mama."

It took Eilish quite some time to get to the platinum blonde color she has now. In fact, she even hid the transition for quite some time, later explaining that the whole dye process took six weeks. She even wore a wig in her signature green and black color hues to the 2021 Grammys in March.

She finally revealed the blonde dye-job in March shortly after the Grammys with a cute video reveal that she captioned, "Did you guess correctly?"
