GARDENING fanatics certainly take pride in their gorgeous green spaces, and with good reason.
Unfortunately, some are finding their gardens are being ruined by mouldy and weather-beaten fences – but there is a cheap and easy solution to this dilemma.
Greenfingered types in one tips and tricks Facebook group have been going wild about the Astonish Mould & Mildew Blaster, which costs just £1 – but according to group members is worth its weight in gold.
“Well I used the spray on mould and mildew treatment for £1 and it’s working already,” shared one gardening fanatic, “thank you to the lady who suggested it.”
The Astonish spray can be bought in many high street stores and claims to effectively remove mould and mildew in minutes, killing 99.9% of bacteria.
To use all you have to do is spray, leave on for a few minutes and then wipe clean – the active formula even helps prevent the mould and mildew from returning.

And it’s not just gardening fanatics going wild for this spray. Those who love cleaning their interiors are also loving this.
One post in a Mrs Hinch cleaning group reads: “I soak cotton pads in it and stick them wherever the mould is. The mould does not come back!” Once removed, the mould grew back in the surrounding area, but not where the cotton had been placed.
One cleaning whizz posted to Twitter about their love of the Astonish spray: “Fun cleaning recommendation: sprayed pomegranate juice all over the wall from cutting open a pomegranate and scared you’ll have to repaint? Astonish mould and mildew blaster will have it gone in seconds.”
Another wrote: “Definitely recommend astonish mould and mildew blaster, I've used it on a fabric suitcase once and it didn't affect the colour at all.”
