WE would all love a swimming pool when the weather is as hot as it is.
But one group of mates decided to upgrade from a regular paddling pool in the summer and made a full-sized heated pool for just £100.
Taking to TikTok, George Preston shared how the group of savvy friends made the heated pool outside their home on a tight budget.
In the clip, he penned: "We built our own heated pool for £100."
The uni group first started by making the wooden structure of the pool using wooden crates.
They then added fabric to the sides of the crates to keep it more secure, after the group of friends bought waterproof material to make sure their pool wouldn't leak.

After securing the waterproof material to the crates, they added spare wooden decking around the sides so that they could get in and out of the pool without slipping.
Finally, the friends attached a hose pipe to the sink in their kitchen and fed it through their window and into the pool.
The group of mates could then celebrate their hard work in style, lounging in the pool and blaring music.
In the comments section, George revealed they added an immersive water heater/coil to make sure it stayed toastie.

The video posted to the account @georgerpreston has since gone viral with over 580k views and 27k likes.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments and many claimed it was totally epic of the students to build a pool.
One person wrote: "This is epic, all the comments and no one is truly appreciating how cool this is haha."
