I got an £8 food haul on a secret website, I didn’t expect multipacks for the price – there’s a catch but it’s worth it | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed how she grabbed a whopping grocery haul for just £8 using a secret website.

Laura Keen took to Facebook to show off her bargain finds, and people were stunned by how much she got.

Posting to the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains, she shared a snap of her haul of goodies.

The haul included six tubes of Pringles, Irn Bru, a giant multipack of green tea, Walkers crisps, an entire box of Masala Munch snacks, a multipack of chewing gum, five boxes of cereal, salad dressing and noodles.

Laura also bagged lots of toiletries including medical gloves, 12 face cleansers, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, fabric spray, hair dye and even cat food.

"Can't believe the amount we received. I didn't realise that some items were in multipacks! All this for £8.

"Absolute bargain. I got flour too but had already put it away. There was also more boxes of teabags!!!

"Multipack items to be shared with friends and cat treats to my local rescue."

She accompanied the post with a picture of her haul from the secret website, Cheap Foods.

You may be wondering how she got so much for such a little price – and there is a catch to buying from the website.

A lot of the items are past their best-before date, which is why they are so cheap.

Despite the catch, many people were eager to try out the website for themselves.

Laura added: "It's best before not use by. Most of the stuff is well within date. It was just a post to make people aware."

Thousands of people liked the post and hundreds took to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: "That’s brilliant for £8!"

A second added: "That is bloody amazing! I need to get on there and have a look."

"Excellent haul there," penned a third.
