I wanted a cute layered bouncy haircut but what the hairdresser gave me was a total fail, people are stunned I even paid | The Sun

PLUCKING up the courage for a new haircut isn't easy.

So when Amelia decided to go for the 90's layered hairdo you can imagine the anxiety that coursed through her body.

But she was left stunned when she saw the final results – which were nothing like what she asked for.

Taking to TikTok, the US-based woman showed the inspiration photos she took to the hair salon.

The images all depicted women with medium length hair, layered and waved, with curtain bangs.

But that's not what the beauty fan left with.

In the next clip, Amelia showed off her hair which had been cut just above her shoulders and had just one set of layers in and no curtain bangs.

In another post, Amelia showed what her hair was like before the chop, her hair fell past her chest, showing there was plenty for the hairdresser to work with.

"Asking god what i did to deserve this #haircut #shorthair #regret ps the stylist did a great job it’s just too short for me," she captioned the post.

But it seemed plenty of people didn't think the hair stylist had done a 'great job' and were stunned by the haircut.
