I was on £35-a-week in benefits -now I’ve got deposit for my dream house, neighbours in my tiny village are fuming | The Sun

A MUM saving for a house deposit has told how jealous neighbours threatened to call the tax man after she went from benefits to big bucks.

Laura Whyte, 29, dreams of owning her own home and has been steadily putting enough money away to make her goal a reality.

Now making up to £4k a month, it was just a few years ago she was receiving only £35 a week whilst unemployed.

The OnlyFans creator, who lives in the tiny village of Aberchirder, Aberdeenshire, insists her family are proud of her X-rated exploits because she’s building a better future for her family.

She says: “My mum is really proud and most happy I’ve been able to raise enough money for a house deposit.

“I’ve never had a job where you can make that much money before.

“I used to think I’d just be here staring at these four walls for the rest of my life.”

But not everybody is happy for Laura.

As well as locals threatening to call HMRC, they’ve hurled insults in front of her children and threatened to call police and social services.

But she’s refusing to allow people being judgemental to impact her positive outlook on life.

All her kids know is that their mum makes money by creating videos on social media and now they want for nothing.

Laura adds: “I can get my son and daughter the things they need.

“I’m their mum and I’ve never left their sides for their whole lives.

“My daughter says she wants a horse and ‘so you better go on TikTok, mum.’

“I’m looking forward to when we can put the money towards our new home.”
