A JAPANESE food blogger sampled a traditional Wetherspoons English fry-up – but one ingredient left a bad taste.
Daichi Ishizawa, originally from Japan, filmed his first full English experience and shared some thoughts.
The food blogger ordered a Wetherspoons traditional breakfast at The Welkin in Liverpool with two slices of black pudding and mushrooms.
To drink he opted for Tetley tea, which came with free refills and he said: "It tastes good and warms me up."
After sampling the sausage dipped in HP sauce, Daichi wrote: "OMG. This is so good. It's crispy."
He even rated the Wetherspoon sausage as superior to those he had back in Japan.

A portion of "yummy" bacon also went down a treat, and the TikToker praised British meat, claiming it is always good – "especially chicken".
Next up for tasting were the "awesome" hash browns, which similarly scored well.
The fried egg and baked beans combo was a also hit for the Japanese content creator but unfortunately a few items on his plate were not.
His serving of black pudding and mushrooms was described as: "Not so good…" and "not my favourite."

Someone else commented: "Can't beat Spoons for value."
But, overall Daichi loved his English fry up, he said: "Traditional Breakfast was really good!
"Good quality," as he gave a thumbs-up.
Daichi shared that his ex-girlfriend was from the UK and always raved about 'Spoons.
He said the best thing about the chain was the quality of food for the affordable prices, and the mobile order system was also efficient.
"Also I can feel something like British spirit and culture from the pub, that I can't experience at McDonald's, Subway or anything like American food chains," he added.
"When it comes to prices and food quality, we have similar things in Japan, and maybe other countries have too, but we can't copy the atmosphere and I liked it so much," he continued.
Daichi's vlogs on his TikTok account @imdedede, are all about comparing UK cuisine with Japanese culture.
