A YOUNG mother has revealed that she is 20-years-old and is currently expecting her third child.
Paige Roods, a stay-at-home-mum, explained that trolls say she is “gross” for being a young mum and while many claim she is funded by benefits, she confirmed that they aren’t wrong.
Posting on social media, Paige explained that she is constantly asked: “Are you actually pregnant with your third kid at 20?”
Alongside her clip, Paige attached an audio from a children’s song – Boom Chicka Boom.
She mimed along to the words: “I said a boom chicka boom (I said a boom chicka boom).
“I said a boom chicka rocka chicka rocka chicka boom.”

Paige later confirmed: “My daughter is three in December, my son is nine months and I’m 21 weeks pregnant.”
Paige’s TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @gormans_, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 118,100 views.
But social media users were left divided at the video – while some were eager to praise Paige and praise her, others weren’t so keen on the idea of her having another child at the age of 20.
One person said: “Age doesn’t determine anything! You’re doing great mama.”

Another added: “And you're a better mother than most out there.”
A third commented: “You're amazing, don't listen to what anybody says.”
Whilst someone else chimed in: “I was stressed just having one at 19! Kids are hard work if you are raising them right.”
To this, Paige confirmed: “Not easy but worth it.”
However, at the same time, not everyone was as king.
One user claimed: “Girl you crazy.”
A second simply stated: “Gross.”
Another TikTok user wrote: “Smh” [shake my head]” to which Paige replied “Back at you.”
Whilst one user assumed: “Funded by Centrelink” to which Paige simply confirmed “Duh.”
Centrelink provides social security payments and services to those in Australia and in a follow-up clip, Paige addressed the claims that she was on benefits.
She confirmed: “POV: On hold with Centrelink to find out how I get this extra ‘$1200’ a fortnight when I have my third child.”
