A SMITTEN barista who used her latte art skills to make a move on a cute customer has given followers an update on the situation a year on.
In May last year, Sophie Hosking, 24, decided to "shoot her shot" with a flirty message on top of the man's coffee at Edinburgh cafe Grams.
She had already decorated his orders with cute animals and love hearts, but decided to step it up by calling him "cute".
Documenting the moment in a TikTok video, she told how her mystery man smiled and took a picture of his coffee after receiving it.
And in a sweet twist, he confessed he's been taking photos of all the decorated drinks she's made him over the months.
Sophie later told how the pair exchanged numbers – and a first date is on the cards.
Now, she has revealed that a year later they are still loved up and enjoying coffees together.
In a new TikTok video, she gave her followers an update on how far they have come together.
Showing the moment she approached her new man last May, text on the screen read: "One year update…"
The clip changes to show Sophie on a train as text on the screen reads: "One year ago, I went viral for making a TikTok about coffee and love.
