I’m a mum-of-10 and we live in a tiny home – triple bunks is the only way we can fit everyone in but we love it | The Sun

A MUM-OF-10 has revealed how the family all fit into a tiny home – including triple bunk beds for the kids.

Julie Kreke shares 10 kids with partner Jason – Isabella, 15, Leo, 14, Silas, 12, Elsie, 10, Samuel, 8, Jeremiah, 7, James, 4, Lydia, 2, Benjamin, 1 and Everett, three months.

The Kreke family, who live in a tiny house on 16 acres in the country where they home school their children, have now revealed how they make their tiny house work for her big brood.

In a clip shared to the family YouTube channel, she begins by showing social media users around the functioning farmhouse kitchen.

"Here we have pantries for all of our inside storage," she says.

"It works very well for us.

"We have a full-size refrigerator and then we're in a constant flux of dirty dishes and washing dishes.

"I thought it's not that bad to just hand wash your dishes if you do it quickly, so that's what we've done for quite a while now."

She goes on to point out the dish rack, before noting how the dishes are placed on the shelves because it's "very practical to put things away."

Julie then goes on to reveal the dining/living room section.

"We use the table for eating, school work, crafts – all of those kind of things – and we have a couch plus a little ottoman," she explains.

Next, the savvy mum says how she custom-designed a shelved space to work exactly how she needs.

"It works so well," she says.

"I think this space sums up how a tiny house can work for a large family.

"It's all about pairing down to what you need and organising those things so they're easy to find.

"You can put them away when you're done with them."

Then she goes on to show the "extra tall" kids' room.

"We always laugh because we have no idea why the original creator of this building would make a room that tall when it's just for a workshop space," she says.

"But for whatever reason he did and it serves us well because we can get two sets of triple bunk beds, and each bed is large enough for even an adult to sit inside comfortably.

"Each child also has their own set of shelves for all of their treasures and every bed has a curtain so you can just pull your curtains closed/

"The older ones can read, while the younger ones are able to sleep without being disturbed.

It wasn't long before the comments section was flooded with praise for the family.

"This lady deserves a medal!! I couldn't possibly cope in such a small space. Hats off to her," wrote one.

A second commended: "I'm impressed not only by how you made everything fit in there, but also how you obviously raise your kids very well! I wish I had half the skill set of you."

A third noted: "Wow! I love how the triple bunk beds are set up individually for each child to have some privacy.
