But when it comes to dating disasters, Eve, from the US, could just take top spot – after flying over one thousand miles to meet a date, only for him to not bother turning up.


Taking to TikTok, the single mum-of-one shared a video of her heading home in a car and penned: "Flying home from Boston after getting ghosted.

"This is the last time I fly over a thousand miles to meet a pharmacist from Bumble."

Taking to the comments section, one social media follower encouraged: "I hate when people said go out there and live your life and when you do it sucks lol hope next time it works out better."

But a quick look at Eve's social media page suggests that it wasn't the first time she's had an unsuccessful dating experience.

In another short clip, she explained: "I was was on Facebook dating and I matched with this guy.

"We were playing truth and dare so I said 'truth' and then asked him what he was looking for.

"His profile said a relationship but I always like to double-check because I feel like men are not always honest on apps – they write one thing but really mean something else."

She then shared proof of the text exchange with the guy in question, where she could be seen asking him what he was looking for on the dating app.

He replied: “It depends upon the person. With you I’m only looking for fun.” 

In response, a shocked Eve asked why only fun with her, to which he bluntly responded: “Because you have a kid.” 

Addressing her followers, Eve explained: "I don’t understand this. What about having a kid makes you only good for fun?" 

"This man knows nothing about me cuz we just matched."

"These are misogynistic views that men have that view women as damaged goods once they have kids."

She went on to confirm the man in question quickly unmatched with her and disappeared when he found out that she wasn’t down for just sex.
