HAVING nice, attractive nails can potentially improve your overall appearance.

According to an elegance coach on TikTok, specific nail colors, shapes, and styles are far classier than others.

Karina shares a handful of tips in a series of social media videos for people who choose to get professional manicures at the salon.

She says: “If you want to look a certain way, here is what I recommend."

"You'll want to stay a little closer to the natural form," she advises.

In addition to choosing a natural shape, Karina also urges women to maintain a natural-looking length.

To that end, she warns against wearing acrylic nails that are much too long.

Karina says: “When the length starts to look a little bit unrealistic, that’s when it crosses over away from the classy category."

Her final elegance rule is to stick to simple designs if you're choosing to get nail art.

In a follow-up video, Karina also describes all the things she thinks people should avoid at their next salon appointment.

She says strange and bright designs are a no-go, showing an example of some incredibly eccentric nails she doesn't approve of.

People in Karina's comment section have much to say about her nail advice.

One person wrote: “I always wonder how people clean their behind with these crazy long nails. It’s trendy but just not practical and definitely not classy."

“Classy goes a long way. I love the medium shorter nails. Neutral colors are always beautiful," someone else added.
