Kerry King reveals what the Universe has in store for you this week… according to Tarot – The Sun

EVERY Sunday, our resident Tarotscope reader Kerry King will be revealing what surprises, challenges and excitement awaits you in the week ahead.

Kerry has been practising tarot readings for the last 20 years, starting from reading for friends to amassing an international client list.

Using her strong intuition and deep knowledge and understanding of the horoscope, she is able to provide accurate and encouraging predictions for the coming days.

Here's her predictions for YOUR star sign…

Aries – (Five of Wands, Six of Swords, Page of Wands)

Wherever you feel in conflict with people, or are experiencing a fundamental incompatibility, as shown by the Five of Wands, it’s time to move on. The Six of Swords visits us when we’re ready to make a leap, and promises that the time is right.

It won’t feel sad or painful, either, but the process of leaving will prove healing and rejuvenating. Simply, there is nothing to fear, so make your escape.

The Page of Wands asks you to try more than one approach if the first fails, be a bit creative, seek a different angle or opinion if your attempts to cut these ties don’t work first time around.

People can get super-clingy when they realise you’re through with their games, and you may have to adapt your behaviour to get your point across and get the heck out of there.

It’s time.

Taurus – (Death, Four of Cups, Knight of Wands)

A phase of “meh” and boredom is coming to an end, thank goodness, as shown by the Four of Cups.

Sometimes we just hit a wall, feel flat and listless, and forget all the specialness around us.

Well, a major arcana card comes to blow all that lethargy away- the Death card (which doesn’t mean literal death, fear not).

Big changes lie ahead and you’re about to get your first glimpse of them.

Don’t back off, or try to stand your ground, but roll with the punches and ride the waves! All of this is going to take you to a new, and better, landscape so the faster you yield to the flow and force of transformational energy, the faster you’ll reach your new destination.

The Knight of Wands reinforces that travel and movement are key here, maybe a journey or trip, maybe a change of location.

But, either way, you’re on the move. And, definitely, wide awake and no longer bored!

Gemini – (Six of Wands, Nine of Wands, Four of Coins)

Real success is close at hand, as shown by the victorious Six of Wands.

You are SO close, Gemini, can you feel it?

The Universe wants you to push on here, because whatever obstacles you perceive are in your way, I’m here to tell you that they’re not HALF as big as you fear.

The Nine of Wands is the tarot’s “keep at it” card, what you see ahead are merely glitches, not ditches, and you can hop, skip over them easily.

The Four of Coins acknowledges you may need to move out of your comfort zone a little (JUST a little), but that’s OK. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Life is all about developing and growing, otherwise we’d never get anywhere or become anything.

Take a deep breath and trust that you’re on the right path, and keep going. Success is nearby!

Cancer – (King of Swords, Ten of Wands, The Lovers)

An air sign in your life (Libra, Gemini or Aquarius), as shown by the King of Swords (so it’s likely an older male) is driving you nuts.

The Lovers shows there is real love and chemistry between you (not necessarily romantic, but possibly), but also conflict and a kind of “hot / cold” vibe that confuses and upsets you.

It’s hard to know where you stand, and the Ten of Wands hints that you’ve grown tired of the game-playing, and overwhelmed with overthinking it (so why do you, then?).

I know you find it difficult to let things go, especially where relationships are concerned, but maybe some space would be no bad thing.

Make him realise how valuable you are by letting him feel your absence.

This temporary reprieve will also give you chance to clear your head too, and remember you deserve more than these kinds of shenanigans.

Go off and do something fun and relaxing, take your mind of this, and things WILL be different when you return to the fray…

Leo – (Three of Coins, Queen of Coins, Queen of Cups)

The Three of Coins is like the tarot’s “promotion” card, telling you that others have noticed your skills, strengths and tenacity and are preparing to give you a leg up, a raise, a promotion or more responsibility (with reward, obvs).

Accelerate towards this opportunity by putting yourself in the path of good fortune, by making nice to those you think can help you.

*SPOILER* you’re looking out for an older woman (or maybe more than one).

The Queen of Coins is an Earth sign (Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo) and likely a wise, resilient and pragmatic businesswoman.

The Queen of Cups is a Water sign (Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer) and likely a more creative, dramatic and enigmatic person.

Know anyone like this? Sidle up to them this week and remind them how great you are… they may have something to offer you.

Virgo – (Eight of Coins, Eight of Swords, King of Wands)

You’ve recently acquired new wisdom which has created a fresh perspective on things, as shown by the perennial student card Eight of Coins.

We all live and learn, and it’s important to pause to acknowledge this, and appreciate the hard-won knowledge you’ve earned.

It’s time to put it to good use too, and help a friend to recognise and deal with a situation they feel helpless to address.

The Eight of Swords is a card about the mental prisons we build for ourselves, the process of projecting our internal anxieties out as external barriers which hold us in place- though we long for change.

Someone you care about is doing this to themselves- you can see it (you see most things), but they cannot.

The King of Wands asks you to step in, talk to them about this, tell them your view, and then give them some space to reflect on it.

Your help and advice could be invaluable here.

Libra – (The Magician, Page of Cups, The Star)

What a magical trio of cards this week, Libra, what are you up to? Something creative, fulfilling and potentially money-making, I think.

The Star is a blessings card, promising that a dream-come-true is within reach, and the higher you aim, the better the outcome will be.

So, reach for the stars, Libra, you can make your dream a reality.

The Magician and the Page of Cups hint that this is something creative, inspiring, and utilises a talent or strength you possess.

Are you thinking of starting a side line venture, an entrepreneurial project, an education opportunity or a new role? If so, get to it, because this is blessed with good fortune, prosperity and joy.

We are happiest when we’re doing what we’re good at, what comes naturally, and makes us feel “in flow”.

Discover how your talents can become the way you earn a living, Libra. This is destiny!

Scorpio – (Three of Swords, Seven of Wands, Knight of Coins)

You’re feeling defensive and a little under siege (TBH, this is a “default” position for Scorpios anyway).

The Seven of Wands shows there is rivalry and competition around you – people want what you have, my friend.

The Three of Swords also reveals that they are prepared to go to some lengths to take it, so be cautious and wary of those you don’t trust (your instincts are true).

It’s a sad face that not everyone is wholesome or has your best intentions at heart, some people are envious and spiteful and need to be avoided / handled carefully.

The Knight of Coins reinforces this “fortress” mentality.

Batten down the hatches, keep your own counsel, protect what you have, hold firm.

This will pass, the “siege” situation will wear them down before you yield or crumble (you’re a tough cookie, they made a mistake tangling with you!), and you can fling open the doors and windows once more.

But, this week, put prudence and caution first, and look after your prized assets and people with care.

Sagittarius(Four of Swords, Knight of Wands, Five of Swords)

You’re finding your teeth are starting to grind when you’re around “certain” people (the Five of Swords shows there ARE irritants in your vicinity) and you’re not the type of person who can sit on their feelings for too long.

It could all blow up, and maybe this week.

The Knight of Wands is a hint that, sooner or later, your temper will give way to one of your epic Sagittarian volcanic outbursts.

It might be fun at the time, but there’ll be an aftermath and you’ll probably end up having to (ugh) apologise AND look like the “bad guy”.

This route just plays into their hands, my friend.

Instead, take the advice of the Four of Swords and withdraw from the fray.

Distance yourself physically, and soon they’ll not even cross your thoughts anymore.

Out of sight IS out of mind.

Go do other stuff with other people and limit the physical windows of interaction or visibility you have to have.

THIS is the right route here.

Capricorn – (Seven of Coins, Two of Coins, King of Cups)

You’re a decisive character, usually, and that’s an asset most of the time.

However, sometimes if you commit too early, you close off other pathways that could’ve ended up being more profitable or enjoyable.

The Seven of Coins shows you’re at a potential cross roads this week (even if you don’t see it), and the Two of Coins is a nudge from the Universe to keep all your options open as long as you can, until you spot something inspiring and unmissable… and not before.

Don’t leap before you feeling a yearning to do it.

This is a HEART vs head situation, a time to use your intuition and passions to guide you, which isn’t your “default” mode so give yourself time and space to recognise when a heartfelt desire is in view.

It’s coming, trust me. Tune in to your feelings- they have someplace to take you…

Aquarius – (Ten of Wands, The Sun, Page of Coins)

You’re in danger of not being able to see the wood for the trees, because you’re overburdened and overwhelmed by all you’ve got going on.

The Ten of Wands is a “workaholic” card, and asks you to put down some of the burdens and baggage you’re carrying. Like, now.

Why? Because there’s a new opportunity on the horizon as shown by the most positive card of all- The Sun.

A portal is opening up before you, leading to a new chapter of success and prosperity and joy.

How do you access this? Clearing space in your life for new energy to flow in and, as shown by the studious Page of Coins, being open to “starting over” in some way.

All journeys begin somewhere, and this one starts with you learning a new skill / role / way of being from scratch.

It’s worth it, and it’ll prove rewarding and fun, too. It’s time to go back in order to go forwards.

Pisces – (Seven of Cups, Knight of Swords, Ten of Coins)

You’re blessed with a powerful imagination, Pisces, and the Seven of Cups shows it’s in full working order this week, coming up with all kinds of ideas, insights and, unusually, potentially financially rewarding schemes and ventures.

Use your creativity to make some money! The Knight of Swords has you charging forth with one of the best ideas, putting it into action, bringing it to life and using it to improve your circumstances.

The Ten of Coins shows this could be a lasting and extremely lucrative endeavour.

Maybe it could even turn into how you earn a living, or certainly how you supplement it.

So, pay attention to your inner visions and daydreams – they’re coming to you for a reason: to show your “you-shaped niche” in this big world.
