MATALAN has issued an urgent recall of a pair of their toddler dungarees as they said they could present a “choking hazard.”
The retailer sent out a warning about their Panda Pocket Dungarees, which were sold between June and October this year.
In a statement, Matalan said: “The ‘Panda Pocket Dungarees’ shown in the above pictures do not meet our usual high standards for quality and safety.
“Our investigations have discovered poppers may become loose which could present a choking hazard.
“As customer safety is our highest priority, we are immediately recalling these dungarees.”
The dungarees had the serial number C316552 and were available to buy between June 14, 2021 and October 7, 2021.
Matalan has urged customers to return the Panda Pocket Dungarees to their nearest store “as soon as possible”, where you can get a full refund even if you don’t have a receipt.
They added: “If you bought the above ‘Panda Pocket Dungarees’ for someone else or know someone who has one then please let them know about this notice.
