A BLOKE was compared to a wannabe Rylan Clark after forking out a fortune for his new Turkey teeth.

Unless you've been living under the rock for the last few years, you will know that the so-called Turkey teeth have become all the rage amongst beauty lovers.

One of those to jet off to the sunny coasts of Marmaris in Turkey was Charlie Bettenson, who paid £3.5 to transform his gnashers.

Charlie, from the UK, shared the journey on TikTok, revealing his pearly whites both before and after the costly dental procedure.

But despite the hefty price tag, it appears that it was only Charlie who was pleased with the smile makeover.

After uploading the clip on the platform, the beauty fan was brutally savaged by trolls, who reckoned he had totally ruined his real teeth.

To make matters worse, not only did hundreds insist his pearly whites were ''perfectly fine'' before, but that the results were anything but natural.

There were many hysterical comparisons, such as people describing them as ''Lego teeth''.

Seeing just how bright the veneers were, one wrote: ''I don't understand why people that have nice teeth in the first place want them replacing to look like Rylan [Clarke].''

Someone else was just as baffled, saying: ''Lad is 19 shaving his perfectly normal teeth for ones he has to re-do in ten years.

Luckily, amidst all the negative remarks were also messages by those who reminded that it was his choice.

''LISTEN UP! 50 yr old here… YOUR ON THIS EARTH ONCE!!

''IF IT MAKES YOU HAPPY… end of script [sic],'' one TikTok user hit back at all the meanies.

Recently, another bloke was trolled after people compared his new veneers to blinding LED lights.

The man, better known to his fans on YouTube as DustinJOTV (@dustinjotv), shared the Before and After snaps on TikTok – but unfortunately, the reaction was slightly different to what he had hoped for.

Revealing the transformation in a video Dustin – believed to be from Germany – begins by showing off his filed down gnashers.

The "before" images of gaps and weirdly sharp teeth make for a rather scary look.

But he is quick to fix it with veneers.

Posing with a sparkly stud earring and a vinyl puffer jacket, Dustin then reveals his new smile, proudly flashing his fake teeth.

Showing his bright veneers, he turns his head so viewers can see what they look like from all angles.

However, despite appearing pleased with the results, people on social media were less than impressed.

For the most part, it seems, TikTok fans thought the veneers looked pretty fake and too bright – some even compared them to blinding LED lights.

Writing in German, one person commented: ''It looks like chewing gum in square shape ohhh god no thanks and too bright.''

Someone else thought the teeth looked like piano keys, and a third found a striking resemblance between Dustin and Jim Carrey in the 1994 hit move, The Mask.

Another chuckled at the quality, believing it looked rather poor: ''What in the wish app?''
