PANDEMIC BABIES have become a viral sensations, from parents claiming they can roll over, and even say some words at just a couple of months old.
Now, the Office of National Statistics (ONS) has revealed the most popular names for these pandemic babies, and it looks like plenty of boys' names have been inspired by the royals.
2020 was quite the year for most of us, while the pandemic spread around the world, life kept moving and many people ended up welcoming their little ones into the world during this difficult and strange time.
Every year, the ONS release the top 100 baby names in England and Wales, looking back at the previous year, so did anything change for these pandemic babies?
The top name for both boys and girls has stayed the same, Oliver has held the top spot for boys' names since 2013, and Olivia has held the position for girls' names for five years.
Since 2010, Ivy has risen 221 places to become the sixth most popular girls name in England and Wales in 2020.
Ivy and Rosie both appeared in the top 10 girls' names for the first time, knocking off Grace and Freya from the top 10 list.
The name Lily has steadily stayed in the top 10 girls' names list for years, and is currently the seventh most popular girl's name in England and Wales.
Whilst Oliver has taken the number one spot for boys' names, the name George came second and there was a running theme of royal names in the top 10 list.
Archie came into the top 10 boys' name for the first time at number nine, pushing out the name Charlie, which has held a spot in the top 10 since 2005.
The name Archie, appears to have grown popular due to its royal links, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle naming their first-born son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, back in May 2019.
The name Harry took eighth place respectively and has been in the top 10 list for over twenty years.
George, took second place in the list of names, and has been a consistently popular name since 2013, when Prince George was born.
Prince George is the eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and is third in line for the throne.

A spokesman for ONS said: "Archie jumped into the top 10 boys’ names for the first time, driven by younger mothers as well as the obvious Royal link. While on the girls’ side Ivy rose to sixth place.
"'Popular culture continues to provide inspiration for baby names, whether it’s characters in our favourite show or trending celebrities. 'Maeve and Otis, characters from the popular programme Sex Education, have seen a surge in popularity in 2020. While the name Margot has been rapidly climbing since actress Margot Robbie appeared in the popular film The Wolf of Wall Street."
