Mrs Hinch fans go crazy over a 99p hack to get patio tiles sparkling like brand new, with little scrubbing needed

FANS of the cleanfluencer Mrs Hinch have taken it to social media to share their tips on getting patio tiles sparkling like new.

With the UK expecting a dazzling 26C heatwave this week, most will be looking to bask in the sun and enjoy the lovely weather with a few drinks and a barbeque.


But before keen summer lovers head out to soak up the sun with their friends and family, it's time to spruce up your patio which might be looking a bit tired after the cold winter months.

If you're amongst those whose patio could do with a bit of love and care, Mrs Hinch fans have revealed their top suggestions to getting the tiles clean, The Express reported.

Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, 32, has long been a favourite amongst fellow cleaning enthusiasts, with close to 4.5 million followers on Instagram.

The star rose to fame a few years ago with various home hacks and now her fans have even started dedicated cleaning pages on social media.

In one such group, Mrs Hinch Cleaning tips and tricks on Facebook, a member sought advice: ''What would you recommend to clean these patio slabs please?

"Been out looking at products today but most seem to be for moss, algae etc, looking for something to clean general dirt!''

Fortunately, fellow cleaning enthusiasts were quick to jump to comments offering their tips.

One user, Tori Smith, swore by the "amazing" Karcher pressure washer, claiming it made a "huge improvement" in her tiles.

A less costly solution – one that retails for a mere 99p at Tesco – was shared by Margaret Regan.

This cleaning fan said that Pink Stuff Miracle Cream Cleaner is the answer.

"Wet slabs, scrub on with a yard brush, leave for a while and jet wash off,'' she commented, attaching a snap of her sparkling tiles.

It appears that Mrs Hinch fanatics were particularly fond of jet washing, as this suggestion came up multiple times.

 Michelle Burke stated: "I do mine once a year, they come up like new."

There was another alternative – using soda crystals, as advised by Patricia Dornan.

''Just scatter them all over and leave as long as you can – a few days if possible – and scrub with a deck brush,'' she explained the process.

"They come up like new add some raw bleach if you want."

If your tiles struggle with black spots, fear not, as Claire Clacey shared: ''We had this on our slabs that had been down for eight years, we bought Ultimate Black Spot Destroyer and they are like new!
