Princess Anne has been every inch the devoted daughter since her mother Queen Elizabeth II died at Balmoral Castle on Thursday, September 8. Today Anne was present as the Queen’s coffin was moved from rest at St Giles’ Cathedral to begin the journey to London.
Anne donned a smart black shift dress for the sad occasion, which she paired with sheer tights and a pair of black pumps.
Pinned to her dress was a demure brooch, and around her neck was a patterned silk scarf.
A simple black fascinator topped off her outfit, and her earrings paid a subtle tribute to both of her late parents.
Anne has worn the Grima Pearl Earrings on countless occasions over the years, including several key life events.
