Queen Camilla wears red silk Fiona Clare dress for Trooping the Colour

BBC Presenter Huw Edwards explained: “The Queen, wearing a red silk dress which reflects the heritage of the Grenadier guards, because she’s, of course, the new colonel of the Grenadier guards.”

Camilla sat alongside Kate, Princess of Wales in the carriage behind King Charles and Huw added: “Her first state event as the Colonel of the Grenadier guards. A quick word about the Queen’s dress, because it’s a red silk coat dress by Fiona Clare, inspired by the uniform of the Grenadier guards and reflected on the dress with the rank insgnia of a full colonol on the epaulettes of the dress.”
