PRINCE Charles could pose an even greater threat to the Firm than both Andrew and Harry, a royal expert has claimed.
According to The Times, young Brits are sceptical of Prince Charles, with worries "about foreign donations and associated misjudgments" looming over his head.
Moreover, with Andrew and Harry "fading from relevance", royal experts are worried that these criticisms of Charles could cause serious trouble for the royal family in the near future.
Speaking in The Times, royal expert Libby Purves said: "Thinking about these two maverick family members, fading into irrelevance, I came to the slightly dismaying conclusion that if there is a real difficulty in the dynasty, it is the heir himself, Prince Charles.
"Even apart from the troublesome charity financial stuff, he’s an elderly man, mid-seventies, not a focus of modern informality like William and Kate."
Fears over Charle's questionable relationship to charity were compounded recently, when news emerged that he accepted £1million from Osama bin Laden’s family.
He took the cash from brothers of the terrorist mastermind behind 9/11 and it was eventually deposited into his charity, the Sunday Times said.
Issues such as these pose a serious threat to the Firm, Purves claims, as young people question the role of royalty after Her Majesty's reign ends.

Royal Expert Daniela Elser wrote in her column for NewsAu: “The poor woman must be so tired.
“Not only is she still working, more than three decades after most people retire, but her family is a source of never-ending scandal and strain with things only looking like they are going to ramp up more.”
Elser continued: “If you ask me, and no one is, what Her Majesty needs right now is not another wet week wobbling over the moors and ruminating on how it all went wrong but needs to rally her lady-in-waiting of more than 60 years Lady Susan Hussey and abscond for a 72-hour all-inclusive gals weekend to Malaga.

Prince Philip understood Edward’s choice to quit Marines, claims biographer
The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, was very understanding about Edward’s decision to quit the Marines, claims a royal biographer.
Writing in the Daily Mail, royal expert Ingrid Seward said: “Given his action-man image and his well-earned reputation for irascibility, many people assumed he was outraged.
“Stories soon spread that harsh words had been exchanged between father and son; even that Edward had been reduced to tears by his father’s anger.”
But she added: “The truth was quite the opposite: of all the Royal Family, Philip was in fact the most sympathetic. He understood his son’s decision, which he considered a brave one, and supported him fully.”

Exhibition of defaced currencies will include Harry & Meghan banknote
An exhibition of money that has been defaced as "cries of anger" in the name of art, including £10 banknotes featuring the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will open later this year.
The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge announced that Defaced! Money, Conflict, Protest will open in October.
The exhibition "presents a world history of protest from the last 250 years through currencies that have been mutilated as cries of anger, injustice, mockery or despair", the museum said.
It is the first major exhibition to display money used as a public canvas for political and social rebellion throughout 250 years of history.
For the first time, it will showcase a new collection of defaced banknotes and coins which has been acquired for the museum by curator Dr Richard Kelleher.
Harry and Meghan appear in a 2019 work by Boo Whorlow called Harry of England/Ten Megs, a reworking of Banksy's Di-Faced Tenner which featured Diana, Princess of Wales.
In the work, Harry replaces the Queen while Meghan appears on the reverse with the message "Trust No Press".

Security to be at forefront of Harry's mind during UK visit
Security will be at the forefront of Harry's mind as he travels from his home in California for the high-profile appearances.
The duke, who quit as a senior working royal in 2020, is bringing legal action over a decision not to allow him to pay for police protection for himself and his family when in the UK.
Last month, he won a bid to bring a High Court claim against the Home Office.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to visit the UK next month to attend charity events.
Harry and Meghan will also visit Germany as part of their trip to support "several charities close to their hearts", their spokesperson said.

Royal commentators have argued the Queen developed an assertive air of authority following the contentious media engagements of her childhood governess, Marion Crawford – ‘Crawfie’.
Express Online reports that Ms Crawford penned several articles and provided a number of television interviews following her retirement, in which she detailed the early private lives of the Queen and Princess Margaret.

Prince Andrew could be forced into investigation by US authorities
Prince Andrew could be dragged back into the Jeffery Epstein investigation if he “continues to stonewall US authorities” an expert has claimed.
Dr Ann Olivarius, a senior partner at law firm McAllister Olivarius, told The Sun Online that the disgraced Duke could be forced to cooperate by American law enforcement.
She said: “If he continues to stonewall US prosecutors, they could theoretically force him to cooperate, but subpoenaing testimony would be very difficult, not least because it would strain transatlantic relations.
