A TINY Lanarkshire property is up for grabs at a bargain price – and it has quite an interesting past.
The 900 square foot property in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire is the site of a former police station.
The old cop shop is on the market for a bargain price of £40,000 and could be converted and renovated into a residential property.
Set within an enclosed overgrown grass area, the former police station is in need of some TLC but would be ideal as a fixer upper.
Although it hasn't been granted planning permission yet, the station is surrounded by rows of homes so likely to be approved for residential purposes.
The building itself currently consists of an open plan office area, a kitchen, two smaller offices and a toilet.
Images show the house in its current state, surrounded by overgrown weeds, featuring barricaded windows and a fenced in front garden area.
Future Property Auctions say there is “potential for renovation of [the] building, conversion to residential property or for purchase as a development site within [the] popular residential location.”
