Where to buy a clearance return pallet? | The Sun

IF you're looking for a bargain, then a clearance return package might just be the perfect purchase.

But what are they and how do you get your hands on one? Here's everything you need to know.

What is a clearance return pallet?

A clearance return pallet is what it says on the tin – a pallet of items that have been returned to a company and are now being sold for clearance.

If you’ve ever watched the show “Storage Wars”, buying clearance return pallets works in a very similar way, except you are not allowed to examine the merchandise at all.

There is no telling why the goods have been returned, they could be faulty, damaged or simply unwanted by the previous customer.

Unlike a liquidation return pallet, these are companies predominantly selling off returns rather than excess stock, although the resulting box is the same.

Once returned to the company, distributors will package together items of a similar nature or theme for you to purchase.

For example, in a homeware themed pallet, you could find anything from microwaves, irons and bins – to kitchenware, fairy lights, and aromatherapy oils.

Where as in a beauty themed pallet, you could find anything from massagers to hair trimmers – it's always a gamble.

eBay offers a great range of return pallets – whether you're looking to fit a particular room in your house or buy from your favourite retailer.

For Amazon pallets, in 2018 the company partnered with B-Stock to launch Amazon Liquidation Auctions.

Amazon EU Liquidation Auctions is the official b2b marketplace where you can buy overstock merchandise directly from Amazon.

In order to bid at an auction, you first have to register with B-Stock and be approved to bid.

There is no fee for applying or for being an approved buyer.

Prices for Amazon return pallets very much depend on the liquidation company they are sold from and how large they are.

Each pallet has its own retail value, which customers can bid above or below on.

Here's some other retailers that sell return pallets:

  • Wholesale Scout
  • B Stock
  • MartHill International
  • Gem Wholesale
  • Brit Deals
  • Merkandi
  • Wholesale Clearance UK
  • i-Bidder
  • Jobalots

What other return pallets are there?

There are also liquidation return pallets available to purchase – and as they name suggests, they are boxes full of inventory which cannot be sold in the regular store.

Due to a wide range of reasons – from returns to slight damages – many stores are selling off their old backlog of stock, including John Lewis and even beauty returns pallets.

As an option to get rid of bulk goods, liquidation pallets are sold to buyers who hope they come across a product with no faults, minimal damage or that can be fixed.

Other options include, electrical goods return pallets, curry return pallets and Argos returns pallets.

Many of the listings however do not allow returns, and the pallets must be kept as is or resold by the buyer.

For more pallet profits, this shopper bought an Amazon pallet and got £3,320 worth of Lego, scooters & karaoke machines.

And this bargain hunter spent £385 on a Very returns pallet and was thrilled to find a £130 Go Kart bike and a Lego set worth £229.
