Woman shares genius hack for working out if you're buying the right length jeans without trying them on | The Sun

A WOMAN has taken to Instagram to share her genius hack for working out if you’re buying the right length jeans – and people can’t believe they didn’t think of it.

Kenzie, known online as @stylingwithkenzie, regularly shares fashion styling tips with her 162,000 followers.

In a recent video, the wardrobe consultant shares how she ensures she always buys the right length – by measuring her jeans against her arms.

“Here’s how to check the length of your pants without trying them on.

“Hold your jeans at the hem and stretch them across your wingspan.

“If your elbow can’t stretch out fully, then the pants will fit cropped.

Although not everyone was convinced, with some arguing that it doesn’t work for those with longer arms.

One follower added: “Sorry it won't work with me…my upper arm's length together is longer than my lower limb length combined.”

Someone else put: “Unless you have unnecessary long arms.”

Another shared her own hack, writing: “I line up the crotch of the new pants to the crotch of pants I’m wearing. Looks awkward but gives me an idea of where the pants will hit on my legs.”

She’s not the only one sharing useful styling tips online – Mollie took to TikTok to share her ‘2 x 2 rules’ which helps her put together the perfect smart-casual look every time.

She said: “This is the two-by-two outfit formula I think everyone should try.

“Two items that are smart, my blazer and these wide-leg trousers.

“Two items that are casual, this t-shirt and these converse.

"And together, it just works. It’s like the ultimate smart, casual, cool, two-by-two formula.
