Taking to her TikTok account, the blogger and lawyer revealed that you should never put the berries in the fridge in the plastic containers you bought them in.

Posting under the domain @Nicole Keshishian she said: "Today I'm gonna save you a ton of money when it comes to storing your fresh berries."

"Follow this method. Add one cup of white vinegar, and three cups of water to a bowl along with your berries. Let soak for ten minutes to get rid of all the mould and bacteria" said Nicole.

Adding: "Rinse well and dry them off really well with a paper towel."

She also explains that the type of container is important, and she uses a glass bowl in the video posted.

"Transfer to a container lined with a paper towel and transfer to the fridge. They will now stay fresh for up to two weeks" said Nicole.
