When does Black Friday 2023 sale start?
Every year Black Friday falls on the Friday following Thanksgiving, and considering Thanksgiving is marked every third Thursday in November it means Black Friday is the third Friday of every November.
With that in mind Black Friday falls on November 24 this year.
The highly anticipated day of deals takes place just after the annual American Thanksgiving celebrations as Black Friday, which was traditionally a US only event.
Nowadays Black Friday is widely considered a global affair, with tens of thousands of international brands and retailers taking part.
While Black Friday falls on November 24 this year, some retailers will launch their deals and discounts in advance of the tentpole event.
For example, Argos and Walking Pad are some of the retailers, which have kickstarted their Black Friday sale on home treadmills already.
When does Black Friday sale end?
Black Friday will officially kick off on November 24, and it is typically expected to come to an end midnight on Cyber Monday, which is November 27.
However, when they choose to end their Black Friday sale varies depends on each retailer and can vary from store to store.
Some may end their Black Friday deals on Cyber Monday, while others will continue their deals long after the Cyber weekend, and even into December.
In most cases the best deals and the largest discounts are expected on Black Friday.
However, if you are holding out for a bargain you will want to keep checking back because deals can change hour by hour, day to day, and stock doesn't always last and you don't want to miss out on your desired product.
Will treadmill discounts be included in Black Friday this year?
Yes treadmills will be discounted in the Black Friday sale. In fact, some retailers stocking home treadmills have already launched their Black Friday sale on select home treadmills, such as Walking Pad.
With treadmills being such a big purchase, Black Friday is a great time to bag a deal.
In previous years we've seen massive discounts across different brands and major retailers.
You could end up saving a huge amount on a new treadmill in the Black Friday sales as major chains will be competing to bring the best possible deals, undercutting one another in the process.
So it's good to look around and compare prices to ensure you get the right one for you, at the best possible price.

In previous years home treadmills which fold, or can fit under the desk, as well as more high tech designs, have also been included in the Black Friday sale, so we anticipate the same for this year's Black Friday sale.

When is Cyber Monday 2023 and are treadmill retailers taking part?
Cyber Monday follows Black Friday and falls on November 27 this year.
It's the final day to get your hands on incredible discounts, as it follows Black Friday and Cyber Weekend.
Unlike Black Friday, Cyber Monday was traditionally geared to online shoppers, with some retailers adding extra discounts for web purchasers.
However over the last few years Cyber Monday has become an extension of Black Friday, with retailers extending deals both online and in stores.
It's well worth keeping an eye out for any last-minute price cuts as the day is the final chance to score those treadmill deals before the festive season.

How can you lubricate a treadmill?
Treadmills feature a waxy coat lubricant that you should be able to feel on the desk surface under the walking belt.
If you find this needs topping up, follow these four easy steps to lubricate your treadmill:
- Loosen the belt by loosening the bolts at the back
- Clean the belt with a cloth to remove dust
- Use silicone oil to lubricate under the belt
- Make sure the belt is in the right position and tighten it up.
You can buy silicone oil from Amazon for £6.77.
It's best practice to do this around every three months.
Some may place a yoga mat underneath to prevent the machine from scuffing or slipping on your floor.
Can you use Strava on a treadmill?
Strava is a GPS-based running app but if you want to track your progress on Strava when using a treadmill, you can manually input your data to tailor it to your workout.
Using a computer, go to your Strava account and 'upload activity manually' to upload and save your activity.
Plus, you can 'mark as stationary' if you want to remember this was a treadmill run.
Some machines may have built in fitness tracking systems, while others may rely on their smart watch to monitor their step count, pace, time and calories.
Can you lose weight on a treadmill?
Absolutely. A treadmill is a fantastic addition to your workout routine – and running is one of the best ways to burn calories fast.
If you get a treadmill with a cushioned running deck, you'll protect your feet and joints from the impact, while also being able to run flat out and get your weight down.
Some may wish to walk on the treadmill to get their recommended 10,000 steps in, while others may be racing ahead to beat their 5K PB.
As all health experts recommend, weight loss does not only depend on exercise, but also a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, with the recommended hours of sleep.
Are treadmills worth it?
If you're looking for a safe, reliable and enjoyable way to improve your health and fitness while at home, treadmills are worth it: they're the ideal buy.
It does require you having enough space – although the compact models fold away easily.
And with the Black Friday discounts, you can pick up a long-lasting model for less.
We recommend the home treadmills for those who prefer to work out in their own space, they live too far from a gym, or want a more cost effective workout option.
