B&M shoppers go wild for 'bargain' egg chair scanning for £30 at tills instead of £165 | The Sun

B&M shoppers can't get enough of a "bargain" egg chair that's scanning for £30 at the tills instead of £165.

The chain is selling the ever-popular product at a whopping 80% discount.

One shopper recently took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group to share one they had found in their local B&M store.

They captioned it: "My B&M bargain! Egg chair for the garden for next summer reduced from £165 to £30."

The original post has been liked 4,000 times and notched up over 3,000 comments from shoppers buzzing about the find.

One said: "Bargain…result," while another said: "Wow congratulations on your bargain."

A third shopper said: "Wow am after one of these," while a fourth added: "Omg I want one."

We had a quick look online and B&M isn't selling the same egg chair on its website, so you'll have to head down to your nearest branch to see if they've got any in stock.

You can find your nearest B&M branch by using the retailer's store locator tool on its website.

Bear in mind, not all B&M's will have the egg chair though – it might be worth calling ahead to see if they've got any in stock.

You can use the retailer's store locator to find your nearest branch's opening hours.

Of course, always shop around before rashly snapping up something like this too.

Just because B&M is selling one for £30 that doesn't mean you won't find one at another retailer for less.

You can use websites like Price Runner and Price Spy that let you compare prices on thousands of products.

Price Spy has a useful tool where you can arrange your search by lowest to highest price too, so can find the cheapest item first.

That said, we couldn't find another retailer selling a hanging egg chair for less than £30.

So if you are looking to buy an egg chair, you'll probably want to head down to your nearest B&M to see if they've got any of the £30 ones in stock.

It comes after B&M agreed to buy up to 51 Wilko locations as part of a £13million deal after the ailing retailer collapsed into administration.

It is understood the majority of the new stores will be rebranded as B&M's.

How to save money at B&M

If you're a regular B&M shopper there's a few ways you can save money on your next shop.

The B&M barcode scanner lets you see if the item's price is cheaper than advertised on the shop shelf.

You can download it for free on to your smartphone via the App Store or Google Play.

Meanwhile, a former B&M manager revealed the best time and day of the week to visit for the cheapest prices – Wednesday at 10am.

Head down to your nearest branch at this time and you're likely to find items from as little as 10p.
