A fuming employee left a bizarre note in the staff room of their office after trying one of the free donuts that had been left out.

Thousands of Brits were left in hysterics after reading the moody note where the worker called the kindhearted supplier of donuts “wrong”.

A snap of the note was posted on Reddit, where a colleague captioned the post: “Found this in the staff room after the morning meeting…”

In the image, a partially eaten supermarket donut can be seen with two bites taken out of it.

The treat was left on top of a note which read: “To whoever bought custard donuts,

“You’re wrong and disgusting and should feel ashamed for not pre-warning us.

“Why not jam?!?”

And, more than 1,600 people liked the chuckle-worthy snap with over 200 commenting.

One jokester said: “Worst part is, OP works from home.”

While another added: “Imagine complaining about something you got for free.”

“The custard doughnut is free like the Trojan horse was,” replied a third.

But, some people claimed they would be thrilled with the snack.

“Custard, jam, chocolate, all are equal in my doughnut utopia,” wrote a sweet-tooth.

A second noted: “I prefer the custard ones, especially the ones from Gregg's with the toffee icing on.”

Foodies claimed that heating custard donuts up in the microwave is the best way to eat them.
