After being fired from CNN, Chris Cuomo is making a comeback with a new podcast and a digitally streamed show.

The journalist, 51, has been teasing his new media entity – called “The Chris Cuomo Project” – on his Instagram in a bid to restart his career.

A source tells The Post that Cuomo has rebranded himself as a “free agent” and will launch the podcast soon, noting that it will be streamed on both his website and YouTube.

“His podcast will be recorded and streamed. Chris is loaded, so he will do it right,” the source said. “And he’s doing this not to make money, it is to get his voice back out there.”

The source added that Cuomo is “going rogue” in a “move of defiance” against CNN.

“He will find guests who are also ‘free agents’ and paved their own way to express his concept,” the source teased.

As Page Six previously reported, Cuomo was fired from CNN last year for advising his brother, then-Governor Andrew Cuomo, through a sexual misconduct scandal.

Cuomo was then accused of trying to destroy the network by exposing an affair between former CNN boss Jeff Zucker and his aide Allison Gollust. 

In March, Chris served a bombshell arbitration suit against CNN, demanding $125 million, a figure which includes lost future earnings after CNN allegedly destroyed his reputation.

Sources say he can work while the arbitration continues because he is no longer under contract with CNN.

Months later in June, Cuomo posted Instagram videos of himself in Ukraine, where he met up with his “brother” Sean Penn, who is filming a documentary.

He also took a swipe at CNN by writing on Instagram of Ukraine, “‘The interest here has slowed…the war is only accelerating. I will show you more reason to care…soon. Thank you for the interest.” 

More recently, Chris posted a teaser for “The Chris Cuomo Project,” showing him walking around New York and sitting at a desk with a large mic.

“Calling all free agents, we are getting close!” he wrote at the time.

The same slick and well-produced teaser, which is set to dramatic guitar music, is also running on YouTube. Meanwhile, Chris is also selling “free agent” merchandise, the profits of which he says will go to a good cause.

A rep for Chris declined to comment.
