THE NORTH LONDON DERBY headlines this weekend in the Premier League.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham have made flying starts to the new campaign but something has to give at the Emirates on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Manchester City will bid to extend their 100% start to the season, while Aston Villa, West Ham and Brighton all return to action shortly after European exertions.
All of those teams feature in our five-legged accumulator across Saturday and Sunday. There’s also a treble – last week’s landed!
A £10 wager on our treble this week would pay out £36.60, while the same stake on our accumulator produces a potential return of £82.40.
🥅 Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest: City over 2.5 goals (8/13)
City always dominate the ball at the Etihad Stadium and, more often than not, it leads to convincing wins.
Take last season. City won 17 of 19 home games in 2022/23 and 13 of those saw them score three or more goals.
So far this term, they’ve beaten Fulham here 5-1, while in midweek Red Star Belgrade were defeated 3-1.
Forest had the worst away record in the top flight last season, winning only eight points on their travels, and while they did beat Chelsea in their last away game, expect them to be outplayed here.

🥅 Liverpool vs West Ham: Liverpool to win (2/5)
Both of these sides were in European action on Thursday night but the hosts changed their entire team away to Austrian side LASK so should have held plenty back for this contest.
Their forward line is a fearsome one and the Reds have already bagged 12 goals, scoring 2+ in four out of five matches so far.
That should be a concern to West Ham.
Although they’ve started well, picking up 10 points from a possible 15, they have a high expected-goals against figure and have the seventh-worst record on that metric.
Liverpool should win this.

🥅 Arsenal vs Tottenham: Both teams to score (11/20)
It might not be the total goal-fest it was 10-15 years ago but the North London Derby continues to deliver for goals backers.
And given the positive starts both sides have made to the new campaign – neither has lost yet – this should again be an open, attacking game to watch.
Thirteen of the last 16 derbies at Arsenal have seen both teams score, while all three matches at the Emirates this season have landed this bet.
On Spurs’ side, two of their three away games have delivered for BTTS backers. Bournemouth were kept out but Arsenal are on a different level.

🥅 Brighton vs Bournemouth: Brighton to win (2/5)
Don’t be put off by Brighton’s midweek European defeat.
They’ll be back to full strength for this one and Bournemouth will likely struggle to cope.
The Seagulls have scored a league-high 15 times so far, while their visitors are yet to win, shipping multiple goals against Spurs and Liverpool, who are both just a point above Roberto de Zerbi’s men.
Under Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth have an attacking philosophy but Brighton keep the ball well and are more than capable of picking teams off on the break if their opponents commit too many forward.
⚽ Pick Brighton to win at 2/5 at BetUK ⚽
🥅 Chelsea vs Aston Villa: Both teams to score (13/20)
No Europe for Chelsea here gives them a notable advantage over a side who were still in Warsaw on Thursday night.
Whether they are good enough to claim the three points is open to question though – they’ve won just one of five so far.
A better bet looks to be to back both teams to score.
Villa’s five games thus far have seen 21 goals, while there have been another 13 in their three Conference League matches.
Chelsea’s equivalent figures are much lower but their expected-goals tally is more than double the number they’ve actually scored. If they keep creating chances on that level, things will change.
