As Thanksgiving falls on the third Thursday in November, it means Black Friday is the third Friday in November.
Black Friday is now a global celebration, with countries all over the world taking part in the big sales event.
Most retailers will take part in offering their own deals over the Cyber Weekend for the occasion, with many even extending the deals to Cyber Monday, and beyond.

When is Black Friday 2023?
The question on most people's lips is "When is Black Friday this year", and the answer is 24th November.
Black Friday follows Thanksgiving, which is marked on the third Thursday of November every year, therefore Black Friday is the third Friday in November.

When is Cyber Monday 2023?
Cyber Monday is always the first Monday after Black Friday, meaning this year it falls on November 27.
You'll still be able to find some of the best deals on Cyber Monday as many retailers choose to continue offers that were available on Black Friday.
However popular items do tend to sell out fast, so holding out until the final day of the sales may not always be wise.
Having said that, Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals can last for longer than 27 November, and into December.
Traditionally Cyber Monday sales are online only, but in recent years many deals are also available in stores, especially for high street brands.
How much is delivery?
Luckily for customers, GHD offers free UK delivery on all orders.
Standard delivery normally takes between three to five days.
All purchases from the official GHD website are covered by the 21-day "no quibble" returns policy (excluding personalised items).
