But TikTok’s latest trend will help you inject a little more life into your weekly date nights.

‘LEGO date nights’ are trending and they are all about getting creative while also offering a sweet dose of nostalgia.

As the name suggests, it involves a trip to the LEGO store, but instead of picking out a difficult set, you and your date each make your own custom builds.

What’s more, you could even have a go at creating your date in LEGO form.

That’s because every store has a section called ‘build a minifigure’, where you can select outfits, facial expressions, and accessories to make your own toys.

It’s also a low-cost date night option, as you can create three minifigures for £5.97 and add more on for just £1.99 each – then head home to make them.

So it’s a whole lot cheaper than a pub trip or meal out.

In fact, the hashtag #legodatenight already has more than nine million views, with many couples sharing how they’ve spent their themed date nights building sets and having fun.

It sounds like a win-win.
