Holby City fans have reacted to the news the drama has been nominated for a BAFTA – the day after its final ever episode.
Following the cancellation announcement last June, Holby City’s final episode honoured the NHS and the long-terms fans.
The episode saw Jac’s (Rosie Marcel) life come to an end after Elliot (Paul Bradley) and Max (Jo Martin) were unable to remove her brain tumour.
While the scenes were very emotional, they also offered hope as Jac donated her organs, prompting the returns of Joseph (Luke Roberts), Ric (Hugh Quarshie) and Berena (Catherine Russell and Jemma Redgrave).
Holby City fans were left devastated last night as the final credits rolled, with one fan saying they were a ‘blubbering wreck’!
Emotions continue to be high this morning as not only are Holby fans dealing with the fact they won’t ever watch a new episode of the drama – they’re also processing the news the show has been nominated for a BAFTA.
