A tattooist who almost passed out in sole-destroying pain from inking her own foot has revealed weirdos are offering her extortionate amounts of money to see snaps of her feet.
Lilith Cuoio, 24, spent an excruciating hour and a half piercing a needle into the sole of her foot before posting about it online.
She described it as a “10 out of 10 pain” but said the end result was worth it.
But since sharing her body work on TikTok – Lilith has had over 1,000 requests from men desperate to see pictures of her feet.
She told the Daily Star: “It has been crazy how many foot fetish people have been offering to pay me thousands of dollars to send pictures of my feet.
“I’ve probably gotten over 1,000 messages."
Lilith said there was no meaning behind the tattoo and doing it provided some “good entertainment” to her and her co-workers.
She has been a qualified tattooist in Denver, Colorado, for one year and said inking her own foot was agonising and something she doesn’t want to experience again any time soon.
Lilith – who has inked her own arm and leg before – added: “The pain was so extreme at some points on the arch that I was feeling queasy and had to take long breaks. But once I started, I was determined to finish it.
“On the arch it was about 10 out of 10 for pain, the only things worse were my palm tattoo and getting my tongue split.”
The tattooist posted footage of the process on TikTok – racking up almost a million views.
And she said commenters took it a lot more seriously than she did.
She added: “Most of the reaction came from the foot fetish community which was shocking and uncomfortable.
“I had hundreds of comments telling me how stupid I was for getting it, how it was a waste of money, how it will fade in a few days.
“Everyone was missing the part where it was for me, by me, for free, and just for fun. I was getting a lot of advice from people who are not licensed tattoo artists like myself.”
After posting the video, one person commented: “Wow your pain tolerance is amazing.”
And another added: “This is the first I’ve ever seen someone tattoo this area before. That’s wild. Ouchies.”
Despite the mixed response on social media, Lilith is pleased with the outcome.
She said: “I am happy enough considering the situation. I didn’t have high expectations for the quality of the work, it was more for fun.
“I have enough tattoos where I’m not really affected by it either way.”
And she added: “To the average person I’m sure it seems extreme, but tattooing yourself in this industry is not uncommon.
“Everybody is taking it a lot more seriously than I am.”
