It's safe to say that Emmerdale star Amy Walsh's home is making us green with house envy. But to be fair, whenever any celeb shares pictures on social media of home renovations or interior upgrades, the first thing we automatically do is head to Pinterest to update our moodboards, steal their style, and just generally manifest that one day all our design dreams will come true.
And when it comes to Amy and her fiancée, rival soap actor Toby-Alexander Smith's home – which they share with their daughter Bonnie who arrived in December 2021 – it's safe to say that a few of their decor choices have definitely made it to the board. Their stunning bathroom, in particular – which we first caught sight of on social media – is a must-see for all design enthusiasts.
The couple – who are set to tie the knot some time soon – have definitely put romance at the centre of things. Opting for pastel pink walls and a whole cottage core feel (with a touch of old Hollywood for good measure), the two have paired the soft shade with dark wooden floors and plenty of cosy lighting.
In terms of the bathroom appliances, Amy and Toby have combined class with comfort, installing a standalone oval retro-esque bath with gold antique-style legs. They've also got an old school toilet with a chain flush that compliments the era of the space. Counter-wise, they've gone for a stunning marble-topped sink with dark wooden cabinets, complete with an ornate mirror perfect for making the space seem larger.
The mum of one has even dubbed the gorgeous section as her "powder room" which we can absolutely get on board with – we're all about the soft lighting here!
To make the whole area feel more homely, Amy and Toby have added some houseplants – a small tree beside the bath, a vase of pink and green flowers on the window sill and a slightly larger plant to the left hand side of the sink.
While the family's bathroom is the chill space of dreams (seriously, imagine lighting some candles and watching your fave Netflix show in the bath) we'd be eager to see what the couple have done design-wise to the rest of the house.
Because as of now, we only know that they've kept their daughter's room of a similar theme, opting for whites and pastel colours and that their bedroom has a similar vibe – with soft furnishings and a large abstract style canvas to make the more neutral shades pop.
Whether they've kept the pastel, rustic, cosy vibes throughout or they've gone for a more modern touch in rooms like the kitchen and living room, whatever the decor, we bet it'll most probably be right up our street.
