Kate Lawler recently announced she has give birth to a baby girl with fiancé Martin, and the overjoyed parents took to social media to share the news.

Martin took to his Instagram Story to write: "Hi everyone, sorry for the radio silence, it's been a long day.

"Nuchky is fine, fit and healthy, as is Kate. We had a bit of complication but Nuchky is ok and on the quick mend and will be with us tomorrow, all being good."

He added: "Nuchky is gorgeous and has lots of hair which make me think Kate definitely has a hairy lover out there."

Reality star Kate, 40, who became the first female winner when she won Big Brother series three, which also starred Jade Goody, Alison Hammond and Adele Roberts, is welcoming a new addition to her family along with her two beloved dogs Baxter and Shirley.

But what we want to know is which room is going to become the nursery in the home they share, which Kate has shared glimpses of on social media.

Let's take a look inside her chic abode…

Kate and Martin have created the most gorgeous nursery for their newborn with very quirky, beautiful wallpaper.

The space has, so far, been kept very simple, with an impressive grey kot sitting next to a wicker storage piece.

In the master bedroom, the room has a chest of drawers decorated in multiple colours and topped off with several funky ornaments and mementoes.

There's also space for DJ Kate to spin her tunes as she shared a snap of herself back in May 2020, as she played a stint for George at Asda for a lockdown gig.

The spot was flooded with light thanks to the roof window which made it easy for Kate to see what she was playing.

It seems their two dogs Baxter and Shirley get the run of the couple's home, as they're often in every snap snuggling up on their bed or with them on the sofa.

Kate even gave them special mention when she announced she was expecting, taking to Instagram to announce the happy news, alongside a photo of them next to the sonogram of her unborn child.

"Still can't believe we're adding another set of paws to our pack and this time it's not another dog. Our little human is due in February 2021."

Elsewhere Kate and Martin have a super chic farmhouse style kitchen that also has a light blue Smeg fridge.

When the engaged couple, who have had to postpone their wedding twice due to COVID-19, celebrated their seventh anniversary they got all dressed up in white to party in their kitchen.

Posing at their dining table, they cut into a gorgeous cake topped with flowers, with their cream fixtures and fittings visible in the background with wooden countertops.

The pair also recently gave their utility room a glow-up, and shared the process on Instagram.

The room went from a busy space to a very chic one with clothes hanging rack and sage cabinets.

Over in the living room the couple have a fireplace surrounded with an exposed brick wall, that also has a gold rectangular mirror above it.

It also doubles up as their dining room with the table in the middle of the open plan area between the kitchen and the cosy front room.

There's also a forest green sofa that the couple and their two dogs are certainly fond of perfectly positioned in front of the TV unit.

When Kate celebrated her 40th birthday in lockdown earlier this year she got all dressed up in a sequinned dress to enjoy a glass of wine in the living room.

She also shared a glimpse at her workspace she had to set up so she could still present her Virgin radio show.

Crediting her fiancé for his handiwork, Kate had set up her laptop and mic on top of the table along with a piece of cardboard to keep things quiet.

In 2019 the couple had started up a podcast called Maybe Baby where they discussed their indecision around parenthood.

But it seems a year later and things have changed as Martin joked when he announced their happy news: "That's right guys – I've ground her down and WE ARE HAVING A BABY.

"Truth is, it was her idea! We'll tell you all about it on the podcast, series 2 of which is out SOON."
