Katie Holmes appeared down in the frumps following her breakup with Emilio Vitolo Jr.

The “Dawson’s Creek” alum, 42, was spotted out and about in New York City on Thursday in a head-to-toe oversized ensemble. From her large sunglasses to her parachute-style pants, it seemed the world-renowned star wanted to conceal herself, which didn’t work.

The sighting came one day after a spokesperson for Holmes announced the news of the actress’ split from Vitolo.

“The pair have parted ways amicably but remain friends,” the rep told Us Weekly on Thursday.

Holmes and the chef, 33, apparently fizzled out after eight months of dating because of their hectic schedules and busy careers.

“Katie has a lot of big priorities in her life — she’s a single mom, her daughter [Suri] always comes first and things were moving very fast,” a source previously told Page Six.

Perhaps Holmes had a sad demeanor over the fact that she likely won’t be dining at Vitolo’s beloved New York City restaurant, Emilio’s Ballato, anymore. The two were photographed dining — and packing on the PDA — at the celebrity hotspot throughout their relationship.

Rumors of their romance’s demise first sparked when Vitolo was noticeably absent from Suri’s 15th birthday celebration in April.

This was Holmes’ first major relationship since splitting from Jamie Foxx in August 2019 after six years together.

Holmes married Tom Cruise in 2006, the same year they welcomed Suri, but they split in 2012.
