Major supermarket is selling a bottle of Bailey's for £8 this week – and it's not Asda and Morrisons | The Sun

IF you're looking to stock up on Baileys ahead of Christmas, we've found a bargain price at a major supermarket.

The popular liqueur brand is a staple in many people's festive shops, and it can sometimes cost a pretty penny.

From tomorrow (November 8) Tesco is selling a 70cl bottle for just £8 for delivery customers.

The deal is already available in stores.

It is a £7.75 saving off its usual price at the supermarket.

But to get the bargain shoppers will have to be quick – and you'll need to be a Clubcard holder.

That means you'll need to be signed up top its loyalty card scheme, otherwise you'll pay the normal price of £15.75.

Plus, you'll need to be quick as the deal ends on November 14.

You can get a Tesco Clubcard for free and earn points as you shop, as well as getting cheaper prices.

You can then use the points to get vouchers for money off food or other rewards like discounts on day trips.

This Tesco offer is the cheapest we've found this week, through deal-finding site Hot UK Deals.

Although, it's worth noting that earlier today the offer appeared to be for £7.50 but it has now changed to the £8 price.

Prices on items like this can change from day to day so do make sure you're always getting the most for your money.

It always pays to compare costs so you know you're getting the best deal.

Supermarkets like Aldi and Asda have their own versions available for those looking for a dupe.

But if it's the real thing you're after, you should always check where you can get the most for your money.

As always, remember to check elsewhere in case we missed a cheaper price – there's never a bad time to catch a bargain.

Remember to look at delivery costs too if you're ordering online.

There's a really easy-to-use comparison site called Trolley.co.uk, which compares the prices of 130,000 products across 14 major supermarkets.

The Latest Deals app also lets you search items and helps you compare prices at several supermarkets to see where it's cheaper.

When it comes to Baileys, it is always worth noting that it can be cheaper at other times of the year, especially in the run-up to Christmas.

Last year in mid-November, Tesco was selling a litre for £7.50 – which is its lowest price ever.

Using Trolley.co.uk, we compared the prices across all major supermarkets for a 70cl bottle of Baileys for this week.

Please drink responsibly and for advice or support about drinking alcohol please visit drinkaware.co.uk.

We found that Ocado, Sainsbury's and Asda are selling a 70cl bottle for £10.

Whereas Morrisons customers can pick it up for £11.99, reduced from £16.50.

Waitrose is selling it for £12, and B&M has it priced at £12.99.

And Iceland has the same size for £14.50, and Coop for £16.50.

So, the Clubcard price at Tesco definitely looks to be the cheapest this week for a 70cl bottle.

As always, remember to check elsewhere in case we missed a cheaper price.

To make sure you're getting the most for your money we also had a look at where you can grab a litre of Baileys.

Morrisons is the cheapest for this size this week at just £12.99.

Meanwhile, Asda, Sainsbury's, Ocado are selling it for £13.

Tesco also has a £13 offer for Clubcard holders.
