Easyjet has issued a major update for customers hit by Covid travel delays and cancellations.
Passengers who were given vouchers for Easyjet flights disrupted during Covid-19 now have an extra six months to use them.
The airline had given customers until July 31 to use them, but this has been extended until January 31, 2024.
Travellers should note that this is the date for when you need to use your voucher by, not for when you must travel.
The extensions will be carried out over the coming weeks and customers will be notified directly once the changes have been made.
The airline has previously extended the vouchers several times to give passengers more time to use them.

An Easyjet spokesman said: "The airline has continued to extend the validity of these vouchers to provide customers with more opportunity to redeem them and has continued to contact customers directly to remind them of the vouchers they have available.
"Customers can also check their voucher balance and expiry date on easyJet.com via the airline’s voucher checker tool."
Many travellers who were meant to fly with easyJet chose to receive vouchers if they couldn’t travel due to ongoing coronavirus restrictions.
They also had the choice of receiving a refund, or transferring to an alternative flight free of charge.

The only exception is if you cancelled within 24 hours of booking, which means you should've got a full refund minus the cancellation fee.
If your flight was cancelled by the airline, you are generally entitled to a cash refund.
You could also choose to accept a voucher for a future booking if your trip was cancelled by easyJet.
We've contacted EasyJet to find out how many vouchers are still yet to be redeemed.
EasyJet isn't the only airline extending its flight vouchers.
British Airways has extended the period that its vouchers are valid for another 12 months to September 2024.
How do I redeem my flight voucher?
You'll need to visit the Easyjet website and find the flights you'd like to book.
After this, review your booking and enter your voucher's redemption code.
The total amount you'll need to pay including after you've applied your voucher will then be shown and you'll be able to continue and make a payment.

You can use either the full value of your voucher in a single booking or use some of it to pay for a less expensive booking.
If you don't use all of the credit issued on your voucher, Easyet will send you another voucher covering the difference.
