M&S launching iconic Percy Pig frappe just in time for the warmer weather

Just when we thought our favourite confectionery couldn't get any better, Marks & Spencer launch a new Percy Pig drink this summer.

The iconic M&S fruit flavour gums were first introduced in 1992 and have since become a wide favourite among customers with the Percy Pig brand vastly expanding over the years.

We've seen it all when it comes to the little face of Percy including in flavoured chocolates, biscuits and juice along with clothing, toys and cooking utensils.

And just when we thought that was it the British retailer announced a new addition to the favourite brand this summer.

In perfect timing for the warmer weather, M&S has launched a new Percy Pig Frappe and for just £3.15 you can indulge in the sweet and refreshing iced drink.

The drink not only looks good with its pink colour but is made from berries, vanilla, and Percy Pig sprinkles, finished off with a Percy Piglet sweet – it will no doubt be an Instagram worthy moment!

Not only can you experience the iconic confectionary in yet another delicious form but Percy Pig is also joined by some other summer drinks in the new range.

Tempting our taste buds even further there is also a Wild Strawberry Lemonade, a Mango and Coconut Smoothie, and a classic Iced Coffee Latte made with new Limited Edition summer single origin coffee with flavour notes of jam, citrus and honey.

The Percy Pig Frappe and summer drinks range are available to buy from any M&S Café now having launched on Monday 15 May.

And that's not all, M&S has also introduced a whole new summer menu from mouth watering brunches to light lunches to an indulgent afternoon tea.

If you're looking for a new brunch spot there's the new BIG Breakfast with all the full English classics including smoked streaky bacon, sausages, poached eggs, potato and onion rosti, portobello mushrooms, baked beans and sourdough toast.

Available for everyone they also have the BIG Veggie Breakfast with grilled halloumi, smashed avocado, poached free-range eggs, potato rosti, portobello mushrooms, baked beans and sourdough toast.

As well as this you can also sample the All-Day Breakfast Wrap or classic Eggs Benedict with creamy Hollandaise sauce.

If treating yourself to lunch is more your thing you can choose from the Wholetail Scampi & Fries, a four cheese Mac and Cheese or the Mature Cheddar & Caramelised Shallot Quiche with zesty rainbow slaw.

For something a bit more indulgent you can have an afternoon tea for just £10 per person – what a bargain.

This comes with a luxury sandwich selection, an all butter scone, Cornish clotted cream, fresh strawberries, a mini chocolate cupcake topped with buttercream, French macaron, cinnamon Palmier biscuit and Luxury Fairtrade tea.

We don't know about you, but we've got some tasting to do…
