Sharing news that you’re pregnant to friends and family is something all expectant parents look forward to – often meticulously planning when and how it is delivered.
But, for one mum, her plans went up in flames.
Morgan Lee claims that her mother-in-law sneakily shared her news to the world before she even managed to tell her “grandparents and cousins”.
Taking to TikTok, she explained: “A week after my fiancé was arrested, because he was being naughty, you know, whatever, he’s good now.
“A week afterwards I found out I was pregnant and I told his mum, I hadn’t told any of my family yet because I was just scared.”
Bizarrely, the first thing her in-law supposedly asked was for her to send over pictures of her pregnancy tests.
Morgan was understandably confused, thinking she was being called a liar, but sent the snaps of the positive tests anyway.
“Not even five minutes later I get a ping from Facebook saying I was tagged in a post,” Ms Lee continued.
“She posted my pregnancy tests and announced to everybody that I was pregnant, online for everyone to see.
“I hadn’t told my family yet. I was p***ed, so mad, I wanted to fight her.”
Morgan’s video has been seen more than 100,000 times since being posted to her TikTok account @morganthepicchick and viewers were quick to share their horror at the alleged incident.
“No one should announce your events before you,” one wrote.
Another commented: “That’s already a red flag not to trust her.”
Others shared their own stories of their mother-in-laws.
“My mother in law showed my engagement ring off to literally everyone, in person, when my fiancé told her it was a secret and she was just to hide it,” Someone else said.
