DEAR DEIDRE: MY boyfriend confides in his female best friend. I don’t think he fancies her, I’m just sad he doesn’t talk to me.

I’m 17 and they are both 18. They’ve known each other since primary school. I only met him a year ago.

Sometimes I feel left out. If he’s upset about something, he tells her, not me. When I ask him what’s wrong, he’ll say: “It’s nothing.”

But then I’ll see him messaging her or calling her.
